This course is designed to provide personal growth opportunities and to develop knowledge and skills of parenting roles, responsibilities, and rewards. Topics include child guidance techniques, parents of positive role models, parents as their child’s first teacher, and parenting practices that promote a child’s health, safety and well - being, with special emphasis on the prenatal and infancy stages. Managing family crisis, managing multiple roles of family members throughout the life cycle and career preparation.
