ASHS High School Student Council and the Fighting Owl Football Team presented Doris Light, President of Pink Alliance, with their 4th annual donation check in the amount of $1,250.00 for a collective donation amount of $4,750.00. Pink Alliance serves women locally to promote breast cancer awareness, provide mammograms, and offer support care and financial aid to those affected by breast cancer. AS Owls continue to raise awareness through annual Pink Out events and wish to extend financial help to women through Pink Alliance. We thank each one of you who purchased a t-shirt, donated at the concession stands, or simply offered an extra donation. Thanks also to our football team members who wore pink at the game by individually pledging funds. Together we ARE making a difference in the Brazos Valley community!
