Brittney Wade » Welcome!

My name is Brittney Wade and I teach High School Biology and Anatomy & Physiology. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a degree in Animal Science. This is my 10th year of being a teacher. My husband and I have been married for 7 years and we have a beagle named Daisy. In my spare time I show horses in jumping, run marathons, read, and hunt. I am so excited and can't wait to see what the year has in store.

Retake Policy

Students will be eligible to retake if mastery grade is below a 70%. The student must set up a time and retake with the teacher within one week of the grade being passed back. The maximum grade allowed for replacement will be 70%, and the higher of the two grades will be taken.

Late Work

Late work will be accepted up to 3 days after the turn in date. 10 points will be deducted for each day the assignment is late.

Absent Work

Students that are absent will have the same number of days absent and one additional day to complete any missed assignments and tests. Students that are involved in school activities will submit any assignments and/or projects due while they are gone upon their return to class. If absent on the day of a test, the student will need to set up a time with me either before or after school to take the test. Students are expected to use designated time in class to complete and turn in all given assignments. If you choose not to complete an assignment during designated class time, then you will complete it on your time.
In the event of an absence, it is the student’s responsibility to retrieve the missed assignment from the designated make-up work area. The student can discuss with me, BEFORE or AFTER school the directions for the make-up work.
