Student Rights and Responsibilities
A student has the right:
- to learn while in school.
- to fair and respectful treatment.
- to learn in a safe place.
A student has the responsibility:
- to obey school and classroom rules.
- to treat adults and peers with respect.
- to listen and not talk when the teacher is talking.
- to be prepared for class, participate in classroom activities, and complete assignments given by the teacher.
- to not distract others from learning.
